Thoughts and Prayers...
A good friend of mine, Cheryl Simper was injured Monday morning in a horse accident at her home. She is in ICU at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. She is doing well, considering what she has been through, but she has a long recovery ahead of her. I have been told that they are having two benefit barrel races for her, one on October 24th and one on October 31st, both at the Broken Bit Arena in Idaho Falls. Please put Cheryl and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

First Smile
Ryder truly smiled for the very first time Saturday morning. I tried to capture the moment on my camera, but the pictures just don't do the moment justice.
Ryder is doing really well, growing and changing every day! He is growing so fast that clothes that were too big last week fit pretty good this week. He is adapting to his new routine since I went back to work really well. I could not have asked for a better babysitter for him, she is wonderful. He has decided that he is a morning baby. He is super happy in the morning, talking, smiling, you know all the fun stuff that makes it even harder to drop him off at the sitter's every morning! Hope all is well - take care.

Family Pics
We took some family pictures at my mom and dad's last Saturday. It was a crazy process with three kids, but they turned out pretty good. We haven't had any type of family pictures for 15 years, I figured we were about due! Everyone is doing really well. I am going back to work tomorrow :(, but that is how it goes. We have a great gal watching Ryder, so hopefully he is a good boy for her! We are getting ready to cut third crop hay, it will be nice to get that done and get it hauled. We are shipping our cattle in Wyoming in two weeks, and gathering our cows the same weekend. Ryder and I are going to Wyoming to haul some of the extra cattle home while Wade gathers the cows. We are becoming really good multi-taskers! Fall is a busy time of year, but we wouldn't have it any other way, or
we may get bored!!! Hope all is well with everyone - talk with you soon.

Ryder's first trip to the ranch
We hadto haul dad & mom's heifers home from Miner Creek last weekend. Wade and Todd drove the big trucks while the rest of us followed. Ryder enjoyed both of his trips to the hills, especially the bumpy road that put him to sleep every trip! It was gorgeous in the hills, it was great to take a little trip since I had not been up there since June!
