So Shantelle and Wade came up with her costume as a dead prom queen, boy did she look awesome. She actually won the Best Costume trophy at her dance class this last week and won a trophy that is half as tall as she is! Then Whitney was a cowgirl and Lauren was a lion, they melt my heart they are so cute. The were both so excited to go to trunk or treat they could barely stand it! Great pictures, wish I could post more, but these are my favorites of my three favorite girls and two proud grandmas!! Thanks to Grandma Kathy, Whitney, Lauren and Tiff for helping with Ryder today while we were in the hills and thanks to Bill, Susan and Dad for the use of their trucks and trailers to get the calves home - we couldn't do it without any of you!! Love you all with all our hearts. Family is the most important part of life.

Happy Halloween!! (Again)
So we had a great time trick or treating. Ryder dressed up as a super cute pumpkin and also kind of looked like a french guy, but boy was he cute. He was a really good sport, since we went to four grandma's houses. He got lots of candy that dad will help him eat! We weaned our cows all day and then came home and dressed him up and made the loop to all the grandma's houses. He is such a lucky little guy to have that many grandparents living this close. Good news is the calves are home and it is almost bedtime!!

Two Years and counting...
Well October 27th was Wade and I's two year anniversary! We really celebrated in style.......we ate leftovers, hung out with Ryder and watched TV. I think that is the first sign that you are getting "up in the years." We are actually celebrating our anniversary on Sunday and Monday when we take Ryder to Salt Lake, so we will be doing something, but it will just be a little late! I have to admit that Ryder gave Wade and I the best anniversary gift anyone could have ever given us! He ate at 7:30 last night, slept till 8:30, bathed and was asleep in bed at 9 pm AND THEN he didn't even get up until 6 this morning, talk about a great gift, sleeping clear through the night, it was priceless. Pretty sad when sleeping through the night is the highlight of your anniversary!!
Anyways he is doing really well, holding his head up for longer periods of time, he has found his hands and voice so every morning he sits on the bed and talks, yells, chews on his hands and growls, yep he growls, it is so stinking cute! We probably should dress him up as a lion for Halloween or a little pig, he has both of their sounds down!!
Todd, Dad and Wade weaned mom and dad's calves at Long Valley yesterday. They froze their tails off between snow, wind and rain. They left at 8 am and got home about 7 pm last night, it was a long, miserable day. First Todd's semi spun out on the ice going up a hill into Bone so Wade had to pass him with the other semi and drive to the top of the hill and carry the chains back down to him to chain the semi up, luckily no one was hurt and he made it to the top. All of the semis had to chain up to get out, so everyone was covered in mud and freezing cold. Then coming home Wade was detoured through Idaho Falls in the semi with a load of calves. But they all got home safely, so that is all that matters. Wade is trucking calves home again today for another outfit, hopefully the roads will dry out a little. We are planning to wean our calves on Saturday, so we are hoping we will be able to get the semi to the calves so we only have to make one trip.
But anyways, I hope everyone is doing good, take care and have a very Happy Halloween!!!

Another race for Cheryl...
Happy Halloween!!

I snapped some cute photos of Ryder today in one of his cute Halloween outfits. He is sporting a skeleton outfit and candy corn socks! He was a pretty good sport during the whole thing! Wow he's getting big. We had a fun day in Idaho Falls with Wade and then he left to go hunting with Todd for the evening so we snapped some photos and went to visit Grandma & Grandpa Christiansen.

2 Month Checkup
Well we took Ryder in for his two month checkup on Wednesday. He weighs 11 lbs, 2 oz and is 22 1/2" long! He has gained 4 lbs, 2 oz and grown 3 1/4" since he was born! He also had his shots, which was terrible. Thank goodness Wade was there! The pediatrician said he is doing great. Wade and I decided if Ryder had to get shots we might as well get our flu shots too, I am glad that is done.
Our hay guy is going to try to rake our 3rd crop today and bale either tonight or tomorrow, which will be nice so we can get it hauled over the weekend. Wade went to Brodie's football game last night in Idaho Falls, they won 43 to 42! Ryder and I stayed home and went to bed early.
Well, I better get going, take care and keep in touch.

More Photos
Well, you have probably figured out that I am a picture freak. I don't think you can take enough pictures. They are the best way to remember great times. Ryder continues to grow and grow. He is now officially just over 2 months old, wow how time flies. He is going to the pediatrician on Wednesday, so I am excited to see what he weighs and how long he is. We got all our cows gathered last weekend and dad, Wade, Todd & Susan found the last one on Wednesday. What a relief, it is so nice to know where everything is! Mom and I went to the Blackfoot Mini Bazaar this morning. We had a great time, they have some really cute stuff and it is super nice to be able to shop in Blackfoot. Well, take care for now, will chat again soon.

2 Months Old
Well Ryder is just shy of 2 months old, which is so hard to believe!! He has started sleeping most of the night, only getting up once each night. It has been great getting some sleep.....finally! Ryder and Zoey are becoming pretty good friends, even napping together! She doesn't pay much attention to him, but when she does it is hilarious. Just a couple nights ago Zoey walked over to Ryder and licked the bottom of his feet, he didn't know what in the world was going on!!
