Just another day

I have very few pictures that actually have me in them, so I am trying to remember to step out from behind the camera and get some photos with my kids, no matter how crazy they are!
Here is Ryder giving a pretend shot to a heifer last Saturday.
Kinsley 4 weeks old.
What a doll.
This is what a 2 1/2 year old looks like after he has branded cattle for 5 hours, and then got in trouble and told to sit on the steps in time out. It only took about 5 minutes for him to fall asleep on the steps in the garage. He stayed there for about 45 minutes until he rolled over and fell off the step! Then he came in and fell asleep again on the couch.

Kids!

Wade snapped this photo of Ryder and Kinsley a couple nights ago. Ryder is such a proud big brother!
3 weeks old.... I swear this is a smile!
I am going to assume that this is a real smile! My mom thinks Kinsley's due date was a little late and she was actually a couple weeks late... She seems so much older than she really is. She has been holding her head up from the time she was born, now a smile and she is now starting to coo?
I need to ask that everyone keep my sister-in-law, Tammie in their thoughts. She has had a severe stroke and no one knows what her outcome is going to be. We need everyone to pull for her and her recovery. She is a huge part of our family and loves my kids so much more than an aunt really should. I am thankful for her and her relationship with Ryder and Kinsley.

2 weeks old already

Here is Ryder getting ready to hunt Easter eggs. He was so excited and so much fun to watch!
Here's Kinsley with her Easter bunny and outfit she got from the Easter Bunny.
Ryder and Kinsley were being really quiet this morning and much to my surprise they were snuggled up watching TV!
Kinsley's not big on kisses evidentally.
Here is Ryder and Kinsley enjoying the nice day on the front porch on Sunday.
Kinsley is now 9 lbs. (she is up 1 lb., 1 oz) in just 2 weeks! She is doing good, a little fussy, but we are hoping to get that figured out in the next few days. She sleeps pretty good and eats plenty!
Ryder is also doing well. He has his moments, but he is getting used to his little sister more and more each day.
Take care, we'll share more in a few days!
